I created bicycle-parking tickets. They are florescent orange stickers that say “ I can steal this bike in ___ seconds”. The user would find a poorly locked bicycle and write in how many seconds it would take to steal the bike and why. Apply the sticker to the frame, handle bar, or seat. The point of the bicycle parking ticket is to get the owner of the bike to lock up their bikes better.
I created a new cyclist handbook. After Researching several resources on the subject of bikes I never found one that was well designed and focused on urban cycling. The resource I designed is a durable and versatile book that fits in the reader’s pocket. The book covers subjects that help a novice cyclist ride safely and responsibly.
Subjects such as: bicycle types, accessories, maintenance, riding in traffic strategies, and injury and accident prevention.
The book has a waterproof, reflective hard cover. The information in the book is condensed and simple to understand. The book features a colour coded fore edge and full bleed chapter openers for quick and easy browsing. There is also an elastic loop for attachments.

I took Nano Publishing course where I learned about print making and book binding. Part of the course was to sell the books we make at 2 events. Our Class was part of the Toronto Small Press Book Fair and the Big on Bloor Festival. My design was chosen to make the posters and promotional materials for the event. This was the Third time the Course was being offered at OCAD and last time the events were called Nano Nano so we decided to add another Nano and just continue the tradition.
For this course i created a zine about my father’s soviet stamp collection from the mid 60s.
I used elements of Soviet Constructionist design to give authenticity to the piece. This was a very fun and personal project.
